AG Words Fluency Activities

These AG word family activities are the perfect way to practice reading fluency. Students will read words, simple sentences, and short stories with CVC words from the AG word family. This allows for students to practice reading the target words in isolation and in context.

Suitable for kindergartners and first graders who are learning CVC words, these fluency activities allow students to practice reading CVC words as well as have fun and stay engaged during literacy time in centers or small group settings. The variety of activities allow teachers to differentiate the activities for students who are on different learning levels.

This reading fluency resource contains both no prep and low prep activities for practicing CVC words. The sentence pyramids and reading strips are designed to be cut apart for students to use, but can remain on the full page if so desired. These pages can be laminated for students to use over and over in a literacy center or reading center.
