Climate Zones Extension Activities

This set of companion activities was created to compliment my climate zone informational essay product. After reading and learning about different climate zones, students can apply and extend their learning using the activities included here.

The 3rd grade Next Generation Science Standards cover understanding and analyzing climate zones, making this a perfect blend of science and literacy instruction.

This resource includes:

• Climate Zone Sort: Match descriptions to their climate zone

• Word Search: Bonus--have students write definitions for the words on the word search to extend the learning even further
