CVC Short Stories

This is a packet of CVC Short Stories.

In this activity students read a short story with CVC words in it, as well as, many of Fry’s First One Hundred Words.

As students are reading the story, they highlight or circle sight words and fill in the missing CVC words by looking at the picture.

At the end of the story, students draw a detail from the story, sequence main events and spell cvc words.
