About This Product

This case study, centered on an environmentally conscious t-shirt company is a great look at a young brand ready to forge their image, and their foothold in the community. This case study follows the a new fashion company and a young entrepreneur-- Sarah Mercer. Her passion for sustainable clothing materials, along with being embedded in her community, has shaped the young brand so far. The company is ripe for a re-brand, though! Students take on the role of branding and marketing consultants as they seek to re-make the image and strategy of the company.

The case study follows this general outline:

  • Get familiar with the case

  • Form consulting teams

  • Design a brand

  • Create a marketing plan

  • Present your plan

Ultimately, your students will use the case study data to create:

  • A logo & slogan

  • A brand identity (when customers think about your brand, what will they think of?)

  • A marketing plan (How will you raise brand awareness?)

If you are looking to get students out of their textbooks and into real business scenarios, case studies like these are perfect! Your students will appreciate the opportunity to get real life scenarios and "on the ground" experience that can translate to their future experiences.
