This resource may be used for world history in French, as well as French Language Arts. I use this presentation as an introduction the the novel "Kiffe Kiffe Demain". Comprehension questions are included throughout for students to check their comprehension.

The slides begin with the introduction of what happened with the first wave of immigrants in France. The whole presentation includes lots of visuals and also questions to check for student's understanding. Additionally, it presents open ended questions for students to provide answers to.

This resource was design for high school level classes and beyond. It could be used as a complement to a bigger unit on the history of France during the post-war period as well as for an advanced language class to increase vocabulary.

Additionally, students could work on the comprehension questions individually, in pairs, in various groups, or as a whole class discussion.
