French: Revision Lesson on Ailments- J'ai mal

A series of activities to revise the topic of Ailments in French: J'ai mal.

This resource was originally created for UK learners of French (studying GCSE French) but can be easily adapted using the editable files provided. This resource is for intermediate learners.

The lesson:

The lesson is split in 3 parts to review this topic and should last about 2 hrs

1. Face and body parts

2. I am in pain

3. Symptoms

It consists of:

- A Powerpoint Presentation of 23 slides ( + pdf version of the presentation)

- Vocabulary revision and practice on Face and Body parts + accompanying worksheet

- Review and practice of the grammatical point: avoir mal à + accompanying worksheet

- A match up the cards / labels game on symptoms + ideas for possible activities using the cards and accompanying worksheet

- Two speaking activities

All answers are provided

The folder includes:

- A PPT presentation (23 slides) + its .pdf version

- 9 pdf documents (worksheets + version with answers)

- 8 word documents (editable versions of the worksheet- except for the card/ label game, which is only available as a .pdf document)
