French: Revision Lesson on Numbers- Les Nombres

In this resource file: you will find a series of activities to revise the French Numbers: Les nombres

This resource was originally created for UK learners of French (studying GCSE French) but can be easily adapted using the editable files provided if necessary. This resource is for lower intermediate learners.

Objectives:

• to be able to work out numbers when reading them

• to understand numbers 1-60

• to use numbers 1-100 in context and without support

The lesson includes the following activities:

• a link to an introductory video on French numbers

• a review of the numbers 1-16 with 2 practice activities; on people's age (short reading activity) and solving easy equations

• a review of the numbers 17-69 with 2 practice activities; on birthdays (short listening activity) and giving the time (reading activity)

• a review of the numbers 70-100 with a practice activity on phone numbers (short listening activity)

• a QR code for further practice

• a homework task on Giving the time and daily routine

What is included:

• a PowerPoint Presentation of 17 slides, including title, objectives and answers slides for all the activities ( + pdf version of the presentation)

• an accompanying worksheet ( .docx and .pdf versions) with a QR code for extra independent practice

• a homework worksheet (.docx and .pdf versions) + its version with answers

• 2 audio files (also embedded to the Presentation)

Differentiation:

• Activities are differentiated using a flag system. One, two and three flags activities represent the level of difficulty.
