About This Product

Introducing: Hundreds Chart & More or Less Educational Game

Suitable for students ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 4. A fun and interactive teaching resource, transforming math lessons into engaging activities that reinforce essential concepts of place value.

Gameplay Overview:

  • This game can accommodate two or more players, making it ideal for pairs or small group collaborative learning experiences. For an added dose of fun, the game can also be adapted for friendly competition by forming teams of two.

  • Included in the package are a More or Less Game Board, a hundreds chart Game Board and number cards. All you will need extra are manipulatives such as color chips or counters which aid tactile learning.

  • The rules are straightforward. Players draw a card at a time and place it on the More or Less Game Board as well as its corresponding spot on the hundreds chart. Students then identify numbers that are one less/more or ten less/more than that on their card - improving mental arithmetic skills whilst playing! The aim is to mark five correct answers in succession (or up to six).

Additionally:

This product is designed not only to teach crucial math concepts like recognizing numbers and understanding place values but also develops critical thinking skills as students strategize how they can line up five numbers in-a-row - developing problem-solving techniques while simultaneously making lessons exciting!

Bonus Touches:(Happy Face cards) allow students an extra turn where they may put another chip anywhere.

All this comes neatly packaged in digital form within convenient PDF format ready for print-out application directly onto classroom resources.
