U.S. President Millard Fillmore Research Project This social studies resource allows students to research and report on Millard Fillmore, the 13th President of the United States. Students will compile research and drafts in a research report flip book. After collecting information and outlining the report, they will publish the final piece on included publishing paper. The resource contains checklists for revising, editing, and peer feedback to improve writing quality. A grading rubric is provided to evaluate students' final published biographies. An optional teacher feedback page allows personalized commentary. The project facilitates key grade 3-5 writing standards. Students read, analyze and report biographical details at an accessible level. They can work independently or collaborate in pairs.
