Word Family Slide & Write - Christmas Theme

This packet is designed to offer a fun, engaging and educational way to practice phonemic

awareness, reading and writing during your Christmas unit. This packet requires a little

prep. Simply print word family cards and sliders on cardstock for durability. Print writing

pages on regular paper and add writing utensils. There are 5 word family slide and write

sets included within the packet. For this activity your students will insert the letter list

into the family word card and pull it through. Read each word as it comes through. Then

write the word on the writing page.
