ABC Game – Alphabet Match with a Soccer Twist | Elementary & ESL Similar to Dobble / Spot it! A playful matching game to support letter recognition in preschool and early elementary (Pre-K to Grade 3) ⚽🔤 This hands-on alphabet game is a great way to help young learners recognize and match letters while staying engaged and active. Inspired by the popular “Find the Twin” concept (also known as Spot It! or Dobble), this printable classroom activity turns letter learning into a fun group challenge. Each card features 6 colorful images – all created by hand and designed with younger students in mind. Every pair of cards has exactly one matching symbol, and the challenge is to find it as quickly as possible. The game helps children sharpen their visual scanning, focus, and of course, their knowledge of the alphabet. You’ll receive two complete versions of the game with 31 cards each – in both round and square formats. This gives you flexibility depending on how you want to prep and present the game. What’s included: 62 total cards (2x 31 cards) 2 formats: round and square (easy to cut) Each card with 6 hand-drawn ABC images Clear instructions for classroom use Designed for easy printing and laminating How it works in the classroom: I’ve used games like this during literacy centers, as warm-ups for phonics lessons, or simply to give students a fun break while still learning. The rules are easy to understand – even for non-readers – and the game naturally encourages turn-taking and positive interaction. Because it’s low-prep and flexible, it also works well for early finishers or small-group stations. You can even keep a laminated version in a quiet corner for students to play independently or with a buddy. Fun, focused, and full of learning – this alphabet game helps build confidence with letters in a way that feels like play. A low-prep, high-impact way to make learning the alphabet more interactive – and fun. Warm regards, Lernfitness Did You Know? Soccer Game – Find the Match! Spot It! Style with Hand-Drawn Cliparts Similar to Dobble / Spot it! A quick-thinking visual game for elementary learners – perfect for brain breaks, warm-ups, or station work ⚽🧠 This printable matching game is built around a simple idea: every two cards share exactly one image – and the goal is to find it faster than your opponent! Designed in a soccer theme and illustrated with my own hand-drawn clipart, this version adds a playful and sporty twist to the classic Dobble/Spot It! concept. You’ll receive two full sets of 31 cards each – in both round and square formats. Each card includes six different soccer-related illustrations (balls, shoes, trophies, whistles, and more). Whether you're working on visual attention, comparison, or just want to offer something fun and interactive, this game is a low-prep favorite. What’s included: 62 cards in total (2x 31-card sets) 2 formats: round and square (easy to cut) All images are original soccer-themed clipart Clear instructions included PDF format for printing and laminating How I’ve used it in the classroom: This type of game has worked really well for me during transition times or as part of a classroom “focus station.” It’s quick to explain, easy to set up, and even young learners who don’t read yet can join in. The competitive element keeps it exciting, but the visual search also supports focus and attention. You can play in small groups, pairs, or even adapt the cards for solo use. The laminated version holds up well over time, and I often keep a copy in our class game drawer. A simple, sporty way to bring energy and focus into your classroom – and a nice break from worksheets. Print, cut, and play – no prep needed, and lots of learning packed into a simple activity. Warm regards, Lernfitness Did You Know? Final or Ending Sounds Phonic Game Phonemic Awareness Activity
Special Resources, ELA, Special Education Needs (SEN), Speech Therapy, Language Development, Phonics, Spelling, Kindergarten, Grade 1, 2, Activities, Games
Final or Ending Sounds Phonic Game Phonemic Awareness Activity A fun pack of two games to help children develop the important phonic skill of hearing the final (or ending) sound of a word. It covers the final sounds: t, d, k, g, p, b, m, s, n. Choose from: Build A Castle or Win the Race. The games are the same whichever you choose and use the same picture cards, but the choice of the game board means that children will not get bored playing the game again and again, plus the fact that you can increase the fun level to keep the children playing! (see below). Objectives This game pack has been designed to give children practice hearing the final sound of a word, something many children struggle with, especially those with a speech delay. It is hoped that, as the child has fun playing the game that the child's phonemic awareness can be developed. The game can also be used within speech therapy to help children distinguish between sounds which are produced in a like manner: k/g; p/b; t/d. Many children have difficulty with sounds that are produced using the same part of the mouth/voice/tongue. If this is true of your pupil, then I suggest that you start by playing the game with two sounds which are not at all similar. Once the child can confidently hear the final sound of a word, then the game can be played with sounds which are similar to help the child’s speech development and the ability to carefully discriminate between like sounds. Grade/ages These games are suitable for children of any age who need to learn to hear the final sound of a word. Games make learning easy, and children learn without knowing they are! Pre-K to teens with special needs will all love these games . The fact that the games allow for an increased challenge level is an added factor, making them games that children and young people will want to play again and again—all good practice for securing the skill of hearing that final sound! How many players? It is suggested that at first, each child plays alone with an adult until they hear the final sound. Then, up to 4 children can be invited to play together. Simply print out the number of game boards you need. Increase the fun level! Begin by playing the game simply. Once the child gains confidence and you wish to play again with sounds that are produced in a similar way or to give further practice, then add in some fun. Flag or wheel cards can be scattered amongst the pictures, and the teacher can choose what these mean - either extra turns or 'miss a go'. I made this game for a ten-year-old reluctant pupil. It worked, and now he can hear the final sound! Win Win!! What is included? 1 PDF File 2 versions of a game 63 picture cards Full instructions Picture Key

Fruit Picture-to-Word Matching Game | PowerPoint (PreK–1)
Common Core, Speech Therapy, Special Resources, Language Development, ELA, Kindergarten, Preschool, Grade 1, Activities, Centers, Games, Presentations, Teacher Tools
I made this fruit picture-to-word matching game as a simple digital activity for early literacy practice. Students click to match each fruit picture with its word. The levels start small with just 3 pairs and gradually increase to 10 pairs, so it works for a range of ability levels and attention spans. Each level includes three versions, which helps keep it from feeling repetitive. This digital game includes: memory levels from 3 to 10 pairs three variations of each level a one-player option a two-player version with a simple scoreboard a PowerPoint Show file (.ppsx) directions built right into the game The fruit vocabulary includes apple, pear, peach, plum, grapes, lemon, kiwi, cherries, banana, orange, watermelon, grapefruit, blueberries, and pineapple. I’ve actually played the highest level with another adult, and it was surprisingly challenging for us (maybe that says something about older brains!). The increasing number of cards really does make a difference. There’s nothing to print or set up. Just open the file and start playing. Important: This game uses PowerPoint animations (including “disappear” effects) and is designed to run in the desktop version of Microsoft PowerPoint. It will not function correctly in Google Slides or in browser-based versions of PowerPoint.

SEL Flashcards for Social Emotional Learning with SEL Coloring Pages
Special Resources, Life Skills, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Social Skills, Special Education Needs (SEN), Speech Therapy, Preschool, Kindergarten, Grade 1, 2, 3, Activities, Centers, Games, Worksheets & Printables, Flashcards, Worksheets, Coloring Pages
In this SEL product, you will get SEL Flashcards for Social Emotional Learning. You will also get SEL coloring pages because there are two different pages of emotions/feelings. Both pages have a black and white version and a color version. The black and white version allows your students to color their own faces and images. The emotions listed are; happy, sad, silly, proud, shy confused, scared, excited, angry, tired, loving, sick, disgusted, cry, jealous, disappointed. These flashcards can be used for so many purposes. I have used these flashcards for Go Fish games where the students have to ask for a certain feeling. You will need to make two copies of the colored emotions poster to make this game work. If a student asks for "angry" and the student they asked has it, that student give the card to the one who asked and that student places the match down on the table and names a time they felt angry. I have also used this resource for memory games. You would, again, make two copies of each emotion. Then you would mix up the cards and place them face down (I would highly recommend cardstock) in a random order. Students then would choose two cards and reveal the emotion cards. If they are a match, then the student can share when they have felt that way. If it is not a match, they would place the cards face down again the the next student would take a turn. This is a fun and interactive game but also helps students discuss their feelings in a non-threatening way. This resource can be used as a whole class activity where students color their flashcards and then cut them out. They can randomly pick a card and name a time they felt that way. This can also be used as a center activity for Go Fish or Memory (as I described above). The ways to use these Emotion SEL Flashcards are endless!
