U.S. President Abraham Lincoln Research Project

Abraham Lincoln Research Project for Grades 3-5 This social studies resource allows students to conduct research on President Abraham Lincoln and present their findings in an informational report. Students will compile information and drafts in a research report flip book throughout the project. The resource includes publishing paper for students to write their final report, as well as checklists for revising, editing, and peer feedback. Using these supports, students will be able to improve their writing before turning in a polished final copy. A grading rubric is also provided to evaluate students' work. This well-rounded research project can be implemented in whole group, small group, or individual settings. The materials aim to engage students meaningfully in learning about President Lincoln.
