About this resource

This is a weekly weather chart tracker where students are able to draw in the day's weather or use the weather icons cut-outs. There is a colour and black and white version (for colouring). Use this resource for a science lesson in reviewing the different types of weather and for independent or group work.

What are the benefits of drawing and colouring? There are many benefits to drawing such as encouraging imagination, igniting creativity and confidence, pencil grip practice for younger artists, and practicing the skill to convey ideas and images visually. Furthermore, colouring is fun for all ages and helps with relaxation and promoting a sense of calm.
