What You Get: This is an Adding the Affix to Make Funny Sentences Worksheetthat was designed for elementary students who have learning or are reviewing this skill. This resource is a 2-page printable. How To Implement This Resource: Print out enough copies of this worksheet for all your students. You may also choose to print only a few copies to laminate. Students could use dry erase markers to complete the worksheet and it can be used over and over again. This would make a great reading center activity. This worksheet consists of a chart for students to complete. Students will read the word in the 1st column and add the affix from the next column. They will write the new word they created and then they will write a funny sentence including that word. There are 10 problems on this worksheet. You may choose to begin by completing 1 or 2 problems with students as a whole group. With the remaining problems, you can have students complete some together in small groups and the rest of them independently. Students will love listening to each other’s funny sentences as they complete this worksheet. Answer key with possible silly sentences are included. I hope you enjoy!
