No Corner Suns

I have seen and learned a lot as an art teacher and I want to share it with you! I have been an art teacher for over 20 years. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelors of Art in art education and earned my Masters of Art in art education from Boston University. I have taught preschoolers, high schoolers and everyone in between. I've taught adults, hosted paint parties, and ran summer camps. I've taught in the country, urban neighborhoods and the diverse suburbs. Public schools, private schools, park districts, & libraries...it has been a busy 20+ years. At every turn of my career I've looked to art education communities for resources that are easy to understand and teach real art education objectives. It's not always easy! That's why I started creating my own. All these resources are things I have actually used and continue to use in my classroom. My students have been recognized for local and national achievements including the Illinois Art Education's Student Art Exhibition, Youth Art Month Illinois Flag competition. As an Art Educator, I've been published in SchoolArts magazine, and self-published many books and handbooks. As an artist I've illustrated children's books and have been included in multiple art exhibitions showcasing my linoleum prints and acrylic paintings.
