Clip It and Flip It - Clip the Vowel

Clip It and Flip It - Clip the Vowel is an engaging hands-on literacy activity for kindergarten and first grade students. This resource features 79 double-sided short vowel CVC task cards that students can use to practice short vowel sounds. Each card shows an image that students must say aloud. Students will then identify the vowel sound they hear in the word and clip a clothespin onto their answer. After clipping their response, they flip the card over to check if they selected the correct vowel. This activity is great for literacy centers, small groups, take-home practice, and developing fine motor skills. The cards are printed on durable cardstock and the answers print on the back of each card. This resource includes enough materials for multiple students to practice short vowel sounds independently.
