CVC Phonic Work sheets

CVC Phonic Work sheets is a great resource for students to continue to practice their reading skills. This resource includes 50 pages of CVC activities arranged in 5 little workbooks to accompany our CVC reading books.

Once you download this resource, you will find five different PDFs files, one for each of the CVC workbooks for each of the vowels (a, e, i, o, and u). Each workbook includes the words which are phonetically CVC and ones that are used throughout the workbook.

Students are asked to read, sort, color, trace, find endings of family words, write the words under pictures, read, and draw. These activities are common in all of the workbooks.

These books give extra reading and writing practice, using the vocabulary introduced in the reading books.

This is a ready-to-print and use resource! Your students are sure to be engaged at having their own little phonic book!

They can be used alone or with the CVC reading books found here!

These books are compatible with Letters and Sounds, Jolly Phonics and Read, Write Inc, but were written for Reading Made Simple.
