Simple & Compound Probability MAZE Activities

This resource was developed to meet the requirements of the 7th Grade Statistics & Probability Standard below:

Understand that the probability of a chance event is a number between 0 and 1 that expresses the likelihood of the event occurring. Larger numbers indicate greater likelihood. A probability near 0 indicates an unlikely event, a probability around 1/2 indicates an event that is neither unlikely nor likely, and a probability near 1 indicates a likely event.

This resource contains the following items:

1) Simple Probability MAZE – Solve for the probability of a single event; possible formats include fractions, decimals, & percents

2) Compound Probability MAZE – (BASIC compound probability) Solve for the probability of two separate events; possible formats include fractions, decimals, & percents (majority in fraction form)

3) Reference Sheet - Print this sheet out as a companion to BOTH mazes. This sheet contains 12 chance situations and is referenced in each situation from each maze.
