World Down Syndrome word search puzzle worksheet activity
World Down Syndrome Day Word Search – Celebrate Differences!
I made this puzzle for my inclusive 3rd grade class to mark World Down Syndrome Day (March 21st). It’s filled with 24 positive words like "acceptance," "chromosomes," "friendship," and "achievement"—all hidden up, down, and sideways. Last year, my students started signing "inclusion" in ASL after finding it in the puzzle!
What’s Included:
✔ 2 printable pages (puzzle + answer key)
✔ Bonus "Kindness Pledge" on page 2 (students write how they’ll include others)
✔ Diverse clip art featuring kids with and without disabilities
