This product is great for teaching students how to restate the question when answering a question. It could be completed whole group as a mini lesson. Or, it could be used as an extension to something you already do. It could be extra practice, or it could even be a quick assessment.
Do you want your students to answer a question fully and completely? Then this product will help.
This activity could be introduced in 2nd grade, and it could be extra practice in grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. Answering a question in a complete sentence is an important skill for students to know. Giving them practice with simple questions like these, will help them become better at it. By restating the question in their answer, it helps ensure that students are staying on topic for what the question is asking.
There is an answer key included. Please note that students could restate the questions in different ways. If their answers don't match mine completely, it still could be correct. You will need to check their answers to see if it meets the criteria.
