Independent Reading Charts – 6 Expectations Set

The set uses one shared independent-reading chart in six stages. Early versions isolate a single behaviour, while later pages add quiet reading, selecting a suitable book, and thinking actively about the text. The fullest chart asks readers to monitor understanding, ask and answer questions, pause to summarize, and remember important ideas.
