About this resource

Use the letter S pages to model the print form before students trace and write it. Work through a small section at a time, pausing to compare the shape of a written letter with the model. The printable format can support a short handwriting routine or individual practice alongside your instruction.

Curriculum reference — Ontario: Letter formation is the task; named handwriting style remains a proper name. Formation of lower-case and capital letters supports Year1 handwriting; the individual worksheet covers selected letters only. Selected skills only; reference stage is not an overall reading age, complete curriculum coverage, or an automatic recommendation for every learner.
