Letter V word search puzzle worksheet activity
Letter V Word Search – Vibrant Vocabulary Hunt
I created this 2-page word search for my kindergarten class when they couldn’t get enough of the "victorious letter V." Kids search for 24 V-starting words like "volcano," "violin," and "vampire" hidden in all directions. The class erupted when someone found "vanilla"—cue 20 kids pretending to lick their papers like ice cream cones!
What’s Inside:
✔ 2 no-prep pages (word search + answer key)
✔ Bonus “V Spyglass” activity (circle hidden V objects in a picture)
✔ Vivacious clipart (vultures, vans, vacuum cleaners—yes, really!)
Teacher Tale:
“My shyest student yelled ‘VEGETABLE!’ and proudly showed her carrot-shaped eraser—now everyone brings V show-and-tell!” – Ms. R., PreK-1
