About this resource
Use clues in five unfinished situations to predict what might happen next. Students complete each sentence with a plausible outcome rather than retrieve one fixed response. Ask them to point to the observation or event that supports their prediction and discuss how different answers can still fit the clues.
Curriculum reference — Ontario: Open predictions allow several defensible answers; do not imply a single fixed response. Short-scenario prediction supports Grade1 evidence-based prediction; no exact outcome is guaranteed. Selected skills only; reference stage is not an overall reading age, complete curriculum coverage, or an automatic recommendation for every learner.
