Prefixes and Suffixes Root Words Worksheet

Ten words provide repeated morphology practice. For each one, learners underline the added prefix or suffix and write the root that remains. The two actions require them to separate a meaningful base from material attached at the beginning or end. A companion morphology sheet shows the completed separations for use after independent work and keeps attention on word structure rather than definitions alone.
