Summer Counting

Counting Fireflies! combines object counting with word-form recording in a seasonal scene. Learners inspect each jar, track the illustrated fireflies, and write the number as a word beneath the container. The jars create clear boundaries between sets, helping children restart their count for every group. Writing the number word adds a literacy component beyond numeral recognition.
