Wear Pajamas to Work Day word Scramble puzzle worksheet activity
Pajama Day Word Scramble – Cozy Classroom Fun!
I made this word scramble for our school's annual Pajama Day last year. My 3rd graders loved unscrambling these 24 sleepwear-themed words while wearing their favourite PJs to class. It's a simple 2-page PDF that kept them engaged during our relaxed schedule.
You'll find:
• Page 1: The scramble with comfy words like "slippers," "blanket," and "pillow"
• Page 2: An easy answer key for busy teachers
I included words we actually use on Pajama Day - from "sleepy" to "flannel" to "dream." The kids especially laughed trying to unscramble "snore"! Difficulty ranges from simple ("sock") to tricky ("nightgown").
Perfect for:
• School spirit days
• Morning work in cozy classrooms
• Transition activities before holiday breaks
Format: No-frills PDF (2 pages)
Teacher Tip: Have students act out words they unscramble - the "yawn" demonstrations were hilarious!
