Editable Sight Words Worksheets | Add Your Own Words | Any Word List
ELA, Language Development, ESL, Pre-Reading, Reading, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, 3, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets
This is an EDITABLE Sight Words Worksheets Resource that will allow you to create UNLIMITED number of worksheets as many times as you wish. WHAT IS INCLUDED one EDITABLE PDF file to make 10 worksheets at once up to 10-letter words creates limitless number of worksheets Students will: read the sight word color the sight word trace the sight word find the sight words among similar or any words you choose to use cut and paste the letters of the sight word to build it find the sight word in a sentence and write a sentence using the word HOW TO USE Enter the words, letters and sentences in the page of the document in the provided spaces, it takes no more than 5 minutes to do so, even less when you are used to it or when you copy and paste the sentences. Ten different worksheets are automatically generated. What I do is, make a copy every time I use it, include the words used in the name file, and save it. Then if I need to print a page for a specific word, I just search the folder for that word, find the file where it's at and print it. Also, you don't need to feel all the spaces to create worksheets . If you, for example, need pages for 1 or several words only, just feel in those spaces but make sure to add all the 10 words because they are used for the 'Find it' activity. Alternatively, you can go and add words in the missing spaces on the pages themselves. Then print only the pages you need and are filled. The option to add a page itself rather than the first page list, gives you the opportunity to add specific extra words to the 'Find it' activity. I really love the simplicity and versatility of this resource. It has became one of my favorites since I created it! I hope you enjoy it as well! Have Fun! Happy Teaching!

Opinion Writing Pack
ELA, Writing, Grade 2, 3, 4, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets
When you are introducing new styles of writing to your students, you want to ensure you find quality writing resources to support their learning. This is an Opinion Writing Packet that uses the TREE Format . The TREE format consists of the following acronym: T opic - What opinion are you going to share? R eason - Why is this your opinion? (The students will give three reasons) E xample - Support each reason with a personal example. E nd - Sum it up with an ending statement. This is great for 2nd – 4th grade students. Included in this file you will find 5 opinion paragraph writing workshops along with some blank templates so you can choose your own topics. Students will opine about holidays, food, music, movies, and pets. Ideas for introducing the workshops: • Make lists of possible holidays, foods, music, movies, and pets to give the kids ideas • Show pictures and/or play music related to each topic to get the kids thinking about what their opinions might be • Allow students time to discuss their opinions with their classmates. This really gets their brains thinking specifically about their opinions and reasons for their opinions • Share ideas as a class about possible opinions. Some students struggle to come up with their own ideas, and this might help guide them to their own opinions These workshops are 1-2 day projects – about 60-70 minutes total, depending on how much practice your students already have with writing opinions and how you decide to introduce the topics.
