My original phonics picture books have been written to bring spelling to life and provide the context for phonics to make sense. Traditional narrative picture book stories are full of focus sound words to teach the many different ways sounds in words are spelled. A range of story based activities complement the stories and help to develop skills in phonemic awareness, phonics and grammar, writing and reading comprehension.
