This video from History Channel describes how old customs and traditions from different countries around the world came to form what we know and celebrate today as Christmas. Follow this trip from ancient Rome to Northern Europe, and also find out how the beloved character of Santa Claus came to life.

The video duration is around 3 minutes. The activities that follow should take up another 90 minutes.
