Create a Plotline Hands-On Activity

This is an ideal first homework assignment for my middle school students, designed to assess their grasp of the elements of plot. It can be utilized at any point during the year and with any book, movie, TV show, or personal experience. This assignment is straightforward, encourages creativity, and results in impressive displays of learning.

I encourage students to create their own plot diagrams based on any narrative they choose — be it a book, movie, TV episode, or personal story.
