This friendly designed worksheet is suitable for students at school, homeschooling, and as a group activity.
Instructions
Cut the clock out, decorate it with colours, then glue it to the cardboard.
Make a small ball out of the clay and place it on the middle circle.
Push the eraser side of the pencil into the clay, making sure it stays upright.
Find a flat spot outside that is sunny all day, and place your sundial.
Secure your sundial with stones on all sides of the cardboard.
Check the time and mark where the shadow meets the edge of the circle on your sundial.
Write down the time, and repeat the same process every other hour.
