This friendly designed worksheet is suitable for students at school, homeschooling, and as a group activity.

Instructions

• Cut the clock out, decorate it with colours, then glue it to the cardboard.

• Make a small ball out of the clay and place it on the middle circle.

• Push the eraser side of the pencil into the clay, making sure it stays upright.

• Find a flat spot outside that is sunny all day, and place your sundial.

• Secure your sundial with stones on all sides of the cardboard.

• Check the time and mark where the shadow meets the edge of the circle on your sundial.

• Write down the time, and repeat the same process every other hour.
