Ending Sounds Worksheets

Kindergartners and first graders can get practice recognizing ending sounds with these phonics worksheets. This skill is a vital skill for both students learning to read and for students learning to identify sounds in words.

What is Included:

In this worksheet set, teachers will receive two phonics worksheets that focus on the ending sounds in single syllable words. These sounds are included in the worksheets: /b/, /d/, /g/, /k/, /l/, /m/, /n/, /p/, /s/, and /t/.

How to Use:

Each worksheet has the student cut out the images on the lower section of the page. The student will then sort the images by ending sounds and glue them beneath the larger image with the same ending sound.
