For children to learn how to read, sight words are important for kids to master. Practicing and reading sight words account for seventy five percent of words that children read. The Fry Sight words are words that are most often used and begins with the first one hundred words for Kindergarten. Using these words often to practice reading is essential to their skills and to improve in their reading comprehension. This list is mainly used for first and second grade students. It is intended to be used not only in the classroom, but to be used at home for practice with an adult. Then, it can be signed by a parent or guardian of the child and passed off at school.
A total of 13 pages for students to practice and pass off once the students have mastered each word. Have parents sign the page once students are ready to pass them off with their teacher.
