About This Product

Five interesting "Halloween" non-fiction articles about How Candy Corn Is Made, All About Halloween, All About Pumpkins, All About Bats, and How Candy Corn Is Made. Awesome report templates (with photos!) are included for each article so you can extend your learning experience. Students will love learning about the history of this holiday surrounded with spooky fun as well as many things that we associate with this holiday. Exposure to non-fiction articles during the holiday is a great way to build and increase student vocabulary and engagement as their excitement and anticipation builds. There are 2 types of writing templates included: one with primary lines and one with standard writing lines.

How to Use This:

Choose which articles would be helpful to you and your class. Print what you need. You could choose to laminate if you want to use these articles again and again over the years. Have students read them independently, in pairs, or in small groups. You could even read them out loud and have students listen carefully and then answer comprehension questions. Have your students write a short report or summary after they've finished reading!
