How I Can Help the Earth is a two-part writing and drawing activity that gets students thinking about real ways they can make a difference, without needing a cape or superpowers. Whether it’s turning off the lights, picking up litter, or finally remembering to use that reusable water bottle, kids will put their Earth-saving ideas into words and pictures.

First, students write about one way they can help protect the planet. Then, they illustrate their promise in action, because sometimes seeing themselves as eco-heroes makes it all the more real. It’s easy to use, fun to complete, and makes a thoughtful bulletin board full of good intentions and great art (some drawings may include capes anyway, we’re here for it).
