Letter M Games

Letter M Games is an interactive phonics resource for teaching students to recognize words beginning with the letter M. This game strengthens ability to hear and manipulate the /m/ sound at the start of words. The printable activity includes a full color and black and white game board, die, and game pieces for 1-2 players. To play, students roll the die, move their marker, and cover a corresponding picture on the game board. Teachers can adjust rules for individual, partner or whole group play. Use Letter M Games during small groups, literacy rotations, or as an independent early finisher activity to reinforce the letter M sound.
