We all know how important it is the encourage reading and these Literature Genre Posters will not only show students the types of books that are available to them, but also give them a snippet of what each genre entails.

These Reading Genre Posters are perfect reminders of the basic Literature Genres most primary grades are exposed to daily when reading. If you are a 1st, 2nd 3rd grade teacher, Reading specialist or Librarian, you may want to grab these and hang them in your reading area, classroom library or school library.

There are many subcategories within these Literature genre but included are basic genres written in Kid-friendly language with descriptions of each.
