Intermediate & Advanced-Level Forms of Verbs Word Wall - V1 V2 V3 Verb Conjugation Charts - 150+ Advanced Verbs (ESL, EFL, ELA) Are your students still writing words like buyed , catched , choosed , or forgetted ? If so, they may need more practice with verb forms beyond the basic everyday verbs. I created this Intermediate & Advanced Forms of Verbs Word Wall to help students master more challenging verb conjugations in a simple visual way. This printable resource includes over 150 intermediate and advanced level verbs with their V1, V2, and V3 forms . All this makes it an excellent classroom reference for grammar , writing , reading , speaking , and vocabulary lessons. Many English learners understand basic verbs but struggle when they encounter less common or academic vocabulary . My goal was to create a resource that students can easily refer to throughout the school year whenever they need help with the verb forms. This set includes a variety of regular and irregular verbs, verbs with identical forms , and many advanced level verbs commonly found in academic writing, formal writing, and everyday English. I have also included British and American English variations in this set wherever applicable. Dog Breeds Domino – A Calm Coloring & Matching Game for Elementary Students This printable domino game is a quiet and creative way for students to explore different dog breeds while practicing matching skills and early reading. The cards are all black and white, so students can color them themselves – something my third graders always look forward to. It gives them a sense of ownership over the material and creates a nice break from more structured tasks. The idea is simple: each domino shows either a dog breed name or a drawing, and students have to find the correct pairs. The illustrations are clear and recognizable, even without color, so they work well for younger learners or students still developing their vocabulary. The breed names are printed in an easy-to-read font, which helps build confidence in early readers. I’ve used this activity in a few different contexts: – as a quiet task for early finishers – in small group centers – during indoor recess on rainy days – or as part of a broader unit on animals and pets It also opens up room for short, low-pressure conversations – for example, “Which one do you think is the fastest?” or “Would you want a dog like that at home?” If you work with a therapy or school dog, like I do, it’s a great way to bring that connection into the classroom without needing a full lesson plan. The file includes 20 domino cards that you can print and cut out. I recommend using heavier paper or laminating the cards if you plan to reuse them. They work well especially for preschool, Montessori, and kindergarten classrooms, but they’re also helpful at home. All the picture cards inside are easy to understand and designed for children who are still developing speech, have limited language, or need extra support communicating. You can use them on bulletin boards, communication boards, and during small-group activities to encourage everyday real-life communication. I created this resource with very young children in my mind. What’s inside? This resource includes 40+ colorful picture cards with clear images and simple words. Each card includes the element’s name, atomic number, and chemical symbol in a clean, easy-to-read format – perfect for whiteboard work, displays, and hands-on sorting tasks. I’ve used them to build a large-scale classroom periodic table, support sorting games by group or period, and even for spontaneous quizzes at the board. Because the design is simple and consistent, students can focus on the content rather than being distracted by layout. The cards support visual learning and active participation. You can also let students take on teaching roles by explaining selected elements to peers at the board.
