Chemical Elements – Matching Pairs Game & Flashcards (1–118)
STEM, Science, Chemistry, Physics, Life Sciences, Montessori, Basic Science, Grade 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, Activities, Games, Worksheets & Printables, Task Cards, Teacher Tools, Flashcards, Classroom Decor, Door Decor, Bulletin Boards, Posters
Chemical Elements – Matching Pairs Game & Flashcards (1–118) 118 cards for learning the periodic table A visual and interactive way to explore the periodic table 🧪🧠 This printable card set includes all 118 chemical elements and can be used either as a classic memory game or as flashcards for independent practice. Each card features the element’s symbol, atomic number, and name – providing a clear and accessible entry point into the world of chemistry. The cards are designed to be used flexibly. You can print them twice to play Matching Pairs (also known as Memory®), where students turn over cards and try to find identical pairs. This helps improve concentration and recall while reinforcing students’ familiarity with element symbols and atomic numbers. What’s included: 118 cards (PDF format) – one for each chemical element Each card includes: element symbol, name, and atomic number Use them as a memory game (print twice) or flashcards for review Black-and-white format allows for optional color coding (e.g. element groups or states of matter) In my classroom: I’ve used this resource with grades 7–10, both during our unit on the periodic table and as a review activity. Some groups like to sort the cards by group or period before playing. Others enjoy using them competitively, seeing who can name the most elements based on symbol alone. There’s also room for differentiation: stronger students can work without a periodic table for support, while others use it alongside. The black-and-white version is copy-friendly and works well if you want students to color-code elements (e.g. metals vs. non-metals). You can also adapt the game for faster learners by having them group elements or research additional properties. This is a low-prep activity you can use again and again – whether as a center activity, partner task, or quick review before a test. Just print, cut, and play. 📍 Best wishes, Heike from @Lernfitness Did You Know? I teach with a certified therapy dog, and together we create a positive and welcoming learning environment. 🐶

PreCalculus Word Wall
Calculus, Grade 10, 11, 12, Word Walls, Classroom Decor
If you are a high school math teacher, finding resources that best serve your students is of the utmost importance! This is aPrecalculus Word Wallthat is filled with practical concepts that your students can use right away. Both teachers and students greatly benefit from having a quick visual reference for topics that were covered last week (or last semester). This Word Wall is printed in bold and bright colors to stand out in your classroom. It consists of over 120 concepts. Sheets will include a title and a subtopic. They will also include a small box at the bottom right-hand corner for a sheet number so you can direct students to a specific sheet. It is purposely left blank to give you the flexibility to rearrange sheets and number them however you’d like. Some sheets will need to be combined because they are too big to fit on one sheet. An “incomplete” border on the sheet indicates topic extends to multiple pages. For a long lasting resource, after printing, I suggest laminating each one of the pages. If wall space allows, post sheets as you cover them in class and leave them up throughout the year. If space is limited, print sheets half-size or replace sheets after completing a unit of study. In addition to using them as posters, this resource may be used in math centers , or as guidance for individual work, or for group work. The topics included are: --Properties of Functions --Key Features of Functions --Polynomial Functions --Complex Numbers --Rational Functions --Exponentials & Logarithms --Trig Functions --Trig Identities --Vectors --Matrices --Conic Sections --Sequences & Series I hope you enjoy! Math, Measurements, Number Lines, Life Studies, Kindergarten, Grade 1, 2, Teacher Tools, Anchor Charts, Templates, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets, Classroom Decor, Bulletin Boards
Here’s a quick way to include real-world math , finding the difference (subtraction), and number lines in your daily calendar routine each morning in kindergarten, 1st grade, or 2nd grade! Have your students record the day's high and the day's low temperature in your city on this large thermometer. Then you can find the difference : which is the daily temperature range! INCLUDES METRIC (℃) & IMPERIAL (℉) How to Use this Calendar Routine: • Note: This product is created to be printed on large 11x17 paper! • Print a large thermometer (with your preferred units C or F) in colour. • Laminate the thermometer. • Then hang it up as part of your morning calendar routine. • Each day, you will look up the day's high and the day's low temperature in your city. • With your students, record the date, the high temperature, and the low temperature on the laminated chart using a whiteboard marker. • Have one or two students come up to circle the high & low temperature on the thermometer. • Then students can help you calculate the difference between these two temperatures to determine the daily temperature range. Many strategies can be used: Counting the dashes in between the two numbers Using mental math or known benchmarks (make a 10) Using the standard subtraction algorithm How to Use This as a Worksheet: • You could also print a thermometer on legal-sized paper to use as a worksheet for your students to complete. This allows assessment of their knowledge of number lines measurement finding the difference integers (if using Celsius in the winter) Grades to Use With: This daily calendar routine is created for students in kindergarten, 1st grade, or 2nd grade. Savanna Animals Flashcards, Animal Facts Charts, and Pictures For K-12
Vocabulary, Language Development, ELA, Science, Animals, Life Sciences, Insects, Not Grade Specific, Bulletin Boards, Classroom Decor, Anchor Charts, Teacher Tools, Flashcards, Worksheets & Printables
Savannah Animals Flashcards and Animal Facts Anchor Charts (Real Pictures for K-12 Science/ELA Vocabulary Lessons) Savannah Animals Pictures/Flashcards, Animal Facts Anchor Charts for K-12 Science Lessons I created these flashcards for all the grades from K-12. This resource features 35 real African savanna animals and birds with clear, realistic photos that work from kindergarten to highschool. What I love about these is how versatile they are. Your kindergarteners can use them for basic animal recognition, while your 7th graders can incorporate them into ecosystem presentations or research projects. I've included both the colored as well the grayscale version. The animal facts anchor charts are also included in this resource. Now the students can learn interesting details while they're looking at the pictures, which keeps them engaged for a longer duration. What you'll get: 35 printable savannah animal and bird flashcards Each card has realistic images with animal names clearly labeled Both colored and grayscale versions (perfect for budget-friendly printing) Animal facts anchor charts with interesting details Ready to use for sorting, classification, bulletin boards, labeling, storytelling, and more Works great for different grades: Preschool and Kindergarten : Animal introduction and basic vocabulary building Grades 1–3: Science content reinforcement and animal recognition practice Grades 4–5: Science fair displays, research projects, and classification work Grades 6–8 : Ecosystem reports, ELA animal assignments, and visual presentations Why these work better than regular flashcards: These aren't typical cartoon-style animal cards. The realistic photos give them an academic feel that works well with older students too. They're also sized right for actual classroom use - big enough to see from a distance but not so huge they eat up all your paper and ink. For teachers and homeschool parents: Print and use immediately No editing or prep work is required Great for visual learners and classroom displays Supports science, ELA, and project-based learning across grade levels Students can work independently with these for research and exploration For students: Builds animal recognition and science vocabulary naturally Makes science presentations look more professional Helps with understanding animal adaptations and ecosystems Keeps kids curious about real-world wildlife These have become one of my go-to resources because they work for so many different activities and age groups. Moreover, kids actually get to learn about animal facts along with their pictures.
