National Siblings Day Word Search - Classroom Activity

I made this word search last year for my 3rd graders to celebrate National Siblings Day on April 10th. It's a simple 2-page PDF with 24 sibling-related words hidden in the puzzle - terms like "brother," "share," "memories," and "teamwork."

The words are placed horizontally, vertically, and diagonally to give students a good challenge. I printed them on bright paper and used them as a fun morning work activity. The kids loved finding words that described their own sibling relationships!

What's included:
• Page 1: The word search grid with a clean, easy-to-read layout
• Page 2: Answer key for quick checking

Perfect for:

  • National Siblings Day activities

  • Family-themed units

  • Morning work or quiet time

  • Discussions about family relationships

I chose words my students actually use when talking about their siblings - "play," "help," "laugh," and even "annoy" (which got lots of giggles!). Last year, we used it to start conversations about how every sibling relationship is special.

Format: PDF (2 pages)
Teacher Tip: Have students circle their favorite word that describes their sibling!
