National Walking Day Word Search - Get Moving!

I made this word search for my 3rd graders last year when we celebrated National Walking Day (first Wednesday in April). It's a simple 2-page PDF with 24 walking-related words hidden in all directions - basic terms like "steps" and "shoes" mixed with health words like "exercise" and "heart."

After our morning walk around the school, we used this as a cool-down activity. The kids loved racing to find words while stretching at their desks. I printed the pages on bright blue paper to match our "healthy habits" theme.
