Recognize and practice the sounds of target letters, one to three per monthly grid

Practice fine-motor and self-help tasks such as cutting with scissors, handwriting, and buttoning

Practice early-math skills such as counting to 30 and sorting objects by shape, size, or color

Send home one monthly grid at a time rather than the full packet, since all twelve months are provided together

Choose the with-labels or without-labels version based on whether you prefer visible weekday labels, since both are included

Print a single copy of each month rather than all four repeated sets, since the four sets repeat the activities in color or black-and-white, with or without weekday labels

Letter recognition and phonics -- each monthly grid centers on finding and sounding out one to three target letters, e.g. 'Find letter A ten times' and 'Practice letter sounds.'

Fine-motor and self-help skills -- activities include cutting with scissors, practicing handwriting, and practicing dressing tasks like buttoning a coat.

Early math -- activities include counting to 30, sorting by shape or size, and finding a target number of items.
