About This Product
Our young learners often love learning about nature and the Earth, so finding as many ways as we can to incorporate this interest is always a great idea! Not only is learning about taking care of our Earth fun, but there are many things we can do to turn an interest in nature into an academic lesson. This works well as a science lesson but can also be incorporated into other subjects.
This is a Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle Worksheet that can easily be used in a science lesson to learn more about taking care of our earth. This is geared toward elementary students. You may find it works best for 2nd – 5th grade students.
Students will creative as they think about how to reuse common items they would find in their house. This is a great way to help them learn about being environmentally conscious!
On the first page, there will be 7 household items for students to look at and decide how they can be used in a new way. Students will choose some of the items and use the box at the bottom of the page to write a few notes about how they would repurpose this item.
On the next two pages, there will be blank writing pages, so students can turn their ideas into complete paragraphs.
