Relations & Functions CARD SORT

This resource was developed to assess the requirements of the 8th Grade Functions Standard below:

Understand that a function is a rule that assigns to each input exactly one output. The graph of a function is the set of ordered pairs consisting of an input and the corresponding output.

This activity is easily differentiated based on your students' depth of knowledge on different types of functions. It can also be used multiple times during the year as their knowledge grows to add linear and then proportional functions. Use it in whatever way best suits the needs of your classroom!
