Sight Word Speller - Book 1

Some words students need to know by sight. These are called sight words. This resource covers the first 100 words on the Dolch list. High frequency words are those that students will see the most in their reading. These words may not follow regular phonics patterns. Therefore, students must learn these words through practice and memorization. The goal of this resource is for students to recognize these high frequency words and spell them without mistakes. Activities included in this resource are: word shapes, word tracing, missing letters, word scrambles, spell check, rhyme time, word search, word sort, and crosswords.
