Tens and Ones | Daily Math Activity

This resource is a Tens and Ones Daily Math Activity.

Students will use one of these pages each day in kindergarten.

On day #1, kids color one “one” cube from the row of ones on the first page and write the numeral “1” in the larger top-left box.

Repeat the next day on a new page, showing two ones and the numeral 2 in the larger box.

Once you reach the tenth day, us the page with a ten rod to color a solid ten rod and write the numeral 10. Staple the first ten pages together for their first counting book.

Continue every day of school, completing a new book every ten days.

The first ten pages of this document are intended to be cut in half. After you get into the 50s, the pages should not be cut for bookmaking.
