Thanksgiving Activities for Kids: Handprint Keepsake Craft

Thanksgiving Handprint Keepsake Poems and Activities for Kids

Create a memorable Thanksgiving keepsake with these 11 handprint turkey poem templates! Ideal for classroom crafts or heartwarming gifts for families, these templates make it easy to turn a simple handprint into a cherished memento. Just paint each child’s palm brown and the fingers in fall colors, press under a chosen poem, and watch the magic of Thanksgiving unfold!

Choose between templates with a pre-drawn face and hat or opt for a blank turkey outline for even more creative freedom. Kids can craft a single handprint turkey or add multiple prints as feathers. Plus, there's a special template with the “Five Turkeys in the Sun” poem, where each turkey gets its own finger!

To add to the Thanksgiving fun, we’ve included five reflective questions for kids to answer about their holiday traditions, family, and favorite dishes;) This makes a thoughtful addition to memory books, giving children a chance to express their gratitude and share what makes Thanksgiving special for them.
