From the author
Make a turtle paper-bag puppet with the supplied head and body pieces. Choose the color template or let students color the black-and-white version, then cut and glue the pieces onto a paper bag.
The eight-page PDF includes two template pages, illustrated assembly instructions and supporting cover, license and creator pages. Provide a paper bag, scissors and glue, plus coloring materials if needed.
Once the glue dries, students can use the puppet for storytelling or imaginative play. Photograph finished puppets for bulletin board displays or portfolios.
