Teaching tips & learning objectives
Learning objectives
- Follow fold lines and glue tabs to assemble a paper form.
- Use colour and pattern choices to decorate the doll templates.
Teaching tips
- Print either version at a consistent scale so the five relative sizes are preserved.
- Provide scissors, glue and colouring materials; model folding and attaching a tab before independent assembly.
- The pastel sheet colours the backgrounds, not all doll details, so pupils can still add their own colours.
Skills covered
- Colouring and pattern decoration
- Cutting, folding and joining paper using printed guides
