CH, SH, TH, and WH consonant digraphs are practiced across six worksheet activities in this phonics packet: circling the digraph in a list of words (chair, fish, whale), filling in the missing digraph to complete a word, matching seven digraph words to their pictures, underlining the digraph within full sentences, completing sentences with a fill-in digraph blank, and finally writing an original sentence for each of eleven digraph words. The word list deliberately places digraphs in both the initial position (chair, ship, whale) and the final or medial position (fish, thumb, wheel), so students practice recognizing the same four digraphs wherever they fall in a word. Six supplementary picture images accompany the matching activity.
